here is the durian season.. my parents are elated..=) so i accompany my mummy to the neighbourhood.. and decides to buy from the uncle that my aunts and mummy frequents for ages.. he's very very nice and friendly! i suggested to get the best premium of all durians “猫山王” (mao shan wang) which is much better than D24.. but is very very pricey! like can be about $30 for just 1 durian! the uncle then suggest perhaps can try the 101 durians first before "upgrading" since this season will last approx a month or so.. so we bought 2 boxes..
and i bought another extra 2 boxes=5 durians for my boy and his family thinking that he quite like durians..
note: I HATE DURIANS. my brain was like stiffened at the durian stall.. but i think i shall be nice to accompany my mummy.. furthermore..to get the 2 boxes for my boy means..i've to tolerate the "stench" for hours before delivering them to his house.. the smell really gives me very bad split headaches, i'm serious, i never had such bad headaches in my whole life! imagine carrying something i can't even stand..walking to the bus stop..sitting on a public transport with it!!! BAD.totally bad. this 2 boxes cost me 2 meals and i went without dinner.. wanted to deliver them fresh.. just hope that i can make him happy
