nothing much to update recently.. other than rushing through assignments..attending lectures.. will be rotting on my sofa watching tv :) channel 8 9pm show is damn nice! this show makes me dislike fiona xie, which i used to find her babelicious.now..NOPE. damn turned off by her voice. because she's so mean to yvonne lim! hated her evil ways to seduce and come between pierre png n yvonne....*GRRR!* pierre png is truely a rising star in channel 8! :)

i know many people are busy with school. but i just hate the fact that i'm treated like a piece of transparent glass by some individuals. WELL.i guess its kind of expected uh? even in different schools, i don't mind lesser meet ups..but occasionally sms or msn won't kill. fwahh. i've long got over this disappointment. ever since primary 6..having your bestest friends FLOATING away is never a new thing to me. people nowadays just care about how much fun they can have with their friends.who gives a hoot about friendship man.
and seriously i won't be shortening my lifespan dwindling about these people like how i did in the past. i will spend my precious time doing things that make me happy. SHOP.TV.EAT.
as you grow older, the need for friends diminish. because you know this phrase "friends forever" is just a kiddy term to trick naive children out there. what matter is.. *your own future *money *career *family *and someone you going to spend the rest of your life with..the love of your life.
i think studying sociology makes me a rather cold person. because by using this "sociological perspective" to view the world you're in.. you get so disheartened by life.. because you get to see the real truth.. and understand what you see is not what it really is.

using a chanel foundation does not make you more vain than someone using a silkgirl foundation. you are still using foundation. (i chance this theory upon one of my school mate's blog) its one's preference.. you chose a silkgirl foundation when you care about how much money you've saved and can spend of something else.. you chose a chanel foundation when you care about how much the product will damage your complexion..you believe in quality.
i can say i used almost 80% of the cosmetic brands available in Singapore. chanel, clinique, shiseido, mac, estee lauder, ettusai, anna sui, maybelline, ZA, loreal. i used to believe chanel and clinique gives me the best coverage for foundation, and i refused to opt for any cheaper alternatives. recently the limited edition ZA 2way foundation caught my attention..$29.90 for 2 refills. i realised..the ZA foundation, which is like 1/4 the price of a chanel foundation, is no way inferior than it. but i'm not saying all cheap stuffs are good. there are bad ones.
take for example a mac eye shadow palette and fasio/canmake eye shadow duo colour. the latter one can't even stay on your lids even when you apply a large amount..the colour applied is not the colour you see in the casing..and the powder sticks onto your fingers and clothes when you accidentally touched it. a good one stays there..colour is perfectly gorgeous, and you only need a meager amount.
i'm not a make up guru.. but i know what products are worth splurging what are not really that neccessary.
foundation..cheap ones like ZA and loreal are very good even compared with chanel. blusher..you can get a good one from loreal @ less than $15..if you fancy a better one will be MAC. eye liner..i only recommend clinique..highly resistant to everything. mascara..if you want a vavavroom effect, opt for DIOR..good for volumising. if not loreal's sky line curve is very good for lengthening. eyeshadow..everything is fine just stay away from CANMAKE. lipstick..i like kaneige.quite lasting..i'm not a fan of gloss..very bad experience with mac lip gloss..very nice colour..but after about an hour it stains your teeth.
but still.. having no make up is the best!!! i wonder how people stand wearing makeup to school.. so sweaty..uncomfortable..no matter how good your makeup is..it'll smudge and turn chalky~! yucks.
make up is for special occasion..or a light one for shopping..or meetup with girlfriends.
